i looked up how to dye your hair with food coloring and if you mix it with vinagar you can.but dose it wash out?

I know that Rogaine and Propecia can help, but are there any medications that are natural that can regrow hair, or slow down and stop hair loss? It’s really Important because I’m 17 and i’m experiencing Male-pattern baldness.

My four year old has alopecia. I’m not sure why, but now he has bald spots on his head, and I’m searching for solutions. Does anyone know of anything that could help? Some medicine that you know of that might actually work? I know there are wigs, but considering he’s four…I’m not sure he’d be one to wear a wig. Please help.

My 15 year old daughter has intense itching, flaking and scaling in her scalp. It itches so much that it becomes red and and starts to bleed.

She is using Head and Shoulders Intensive Treatment Shampoo and it is helping a little.

I bought her Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo since it has coal tar and it did not help.

What other treatments are available that would work well?

Right now i dont really have a choice to get other dye products. So how can I tint it with food dye?

I work at a licensed Starbucks inside of a grocery store. I am an employee of the store and because I’m working with product for immediate consumption, I have to have my hair restrained. Some days, I wear the trademarked cap while on my shift. I’ve always worn a ponytail at this job. What are other ways I can do my hair while still being within my uniform regulations?

i inherited alopecia from my fathers side. my dad and some of my aunts have it. i first lost hair in high school then it grew back. i had thick, coarse and wavy hair in high school then when i got my hair colored it just wasn’t the same. it started thinning but it still is wavy and coarse. i was really planning to have my hair rebonded or straightened but i discovered a bald spot. i am wondering if it will be harmful to my hair because of my alopecia?will it cause my hair to fall more because of the chemicals? serious answers only. mean/nonsense answers will be given a low rating or will be reported. thanks.

Hey guys, I’ve had crohn’s disease for about a year now and my hair has been slowly thinning. After talking the doc he said it was most likely ur body isnt getting enough nutrients… My question is that will taking biotin help me get thicker hair..i just started taking it..i take a 2500 mcg pill along with an average multi-vitamin every morning..is 2500 mcg enough, or should i up it to 5000 until i see results..any hellp or other tips would be greatly appreciated!! Anyone here know anyone who has alopecia that got married or has a good girlfriend/boyfriend. Alopecia is something I’ve had since 4 years old and while some people don’t even know it’s something I can be insecure about. For those that don’t know what it is, it’s hair loss. I’m just curious if anyone knows anyone with this and how they hold up with it? Do they have a girlfriend? Are they married? Do they have kids?

I was starving this morning until I found a long piece of hair in my food, and I completely lost my appetite, Now I feel like I am going to throw up.

My scalp psoriasis has begun to flare up again after many years (I’ve had severe to moderate psoriasis since I was a baby) and I’m flaking almost every day. It’s getting extremely annoying and bothersome. I’m currently using prescription salicylic acid in mineral oil every night, which of course only treats the flaking, so it just keeps coming back over and over again. I use T-Gel all the time; it isn’t helping much. Have any of you had trouble with scalp psoriasis? If so, I’d like to hear anything you’ve tried that was more or less successful.

My son has alopecia areata and does not want to shave his head bald. He also does not want to grow his hair out longer. My only option is to dramatically boost his self-confidence in a very shot time without making him vain. Any ideas?
