My 10 year old son has had Alopecia for 5 years.In the summer he gets quite alot of hair back on top of his head.But in winter it falls out again.It really upsets him.I have been to the docs many times but they say there is nothing they can do.I have tried a hair system but it itches him and gets sweaty.Is there anything else i can do to help him ?

I was just told that I may have alopecia. The doctor gave me some shots and a cream for it but is there anything else I can do to prevent my hair from falling out. And make the hair grow back that has fallen out?

Im a 20 year old female and I have alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease that makes your hair fall out. It doesn’t affect your health in anyway. Would I be able to be in the military?

I have got alopecia in the eyebrow, its not a bad case its just a little bit where it looks like ive shaved a line right through my eyebrow. I’ve been told that its through stress, i’ve had quite a bit of stress in my life since i was about 5.. im now 14. its always been my dad making me feel stressed even since i was little always putting pressure on me. is this why? what other reasons could it be?

Ok, so I have a friend with this. For those that don’t know what it is, it’s hair loss. He’s had it since he’s younger but he just shaves his head now and no on really knows he has it or less he tells them. Because of this he also doesn’t really have body hair. I told him some girls like when guys have no body hair. Anyways, considering I already have a boyfriend, I’m just curious are there other girls out there that would date a guy with alopecia?

Ever since I was eight years old my hair started to gradually decline in numbers. Also, I went to the doctor to receive treatment and he could only give one advice and it was to go completely bald by shaving it. I did this a couple of times because the hairs on my head were not growing constantly; therefore, the hairs were not growing equally. After following this procedure, it never grew back again. Now that I am 23, I want it back, but what can I do about this problem? Please provide a reasonable answer!!

Apopecia, Is a disease that rejects hair growth. I would like to know if anyone know anyone with this condition and a treatment that works.
