does coloring hair with food dye work on brown hair?
i know it works on blonde hair , but does it work on brown. i dont wanna bleach my hair at all. i dont wanna add any real chemicals i was wondering if i can get the food dye in my hair without anything extra???

You may get a faint color..mostly to show up under the sun or in bright light…but it will stain the back of your shirts & the collar. I tried it before with kool-aid on dk. brown hair, it was more hastle then what its worth.
It will not show up on dark hair.
No, I don’t think it would. Plus, you wouldn’t want to do that. The food dye might have some ingrediants in it that can make your hair look ugly.

Right, i tried this at one of my mates parties and it didn’t work, my hair is medium brown and it made my hair go black, if you get it on your face while its in your hair it doesn’t come off and also your hair stays wet and the food dye makes your hair extra greasy :/ i suggest buying some colour hair spray from your local party store
