How to dye hair using food coloring?
I want to dye my hair green for St Patrick’s Day tomorrow. All I have to dye it with is green food coloring. Will it work if I just mix a couple drops into my shampoo? Otherwise, how should I do it?
I’ve tried kool-aid and it just won’t stay in my hair! A friend in high school used to use food coloring to dye his hair and he’d do liberty spikes and such…I only need it for a day, and my hair is fairly light-colored.

Snip off a few strands in the back underneath, dye it and see how that turns out, that is the hardest hair to dye since its shaded from the effects of the sun.
I don’t think it would work, no offense
. I don’t know how to dye it with food coloring. But I do know how with kool-aid. (you could just run down to Fry’s or something? It’s like $.20 a bag.)
Here’s two wikihow pages. One is kool-aid, the other is food coloring.
