i really wanna color my hair with food coloring but i want 2 know if it will hurt my hair

ok so im dieing some of my hair blue for socer season, and if i cant have it died by my hair dressor i want to try the food coloring thing, but i want to know if after its dried if it will rub off on everything or if when i do wash my hair if the rest of my ahir will turn blue too

Preferably green food coloring. And details on how long to let it sit in and stuff like that would be appreciated.

ok i have heard that you can color your hair with food coloring i have light brown hair so if i mix red food coloring with conditioner and put it in my hair and wait will i get pinkish streaks?

if you have done this did it work and how long did it stay?

I don’t wanna use food coloring. because i have before. and it didn’t really work. And i want my hair highlighted either red, green, or blue. I have a medium brunette hair shade.

i want to know if i would color my hair with food coloring if it would come out the next day. Because at school we are having crazy hair day and i wanna put food coloring in it and i want it to come out the next day. . . will it ?

Im going to be gunged for charity (Have a mixture of flour, water, and green food coloring poured over me) and ive heard conflicting reports over whether it will stain my hair. Im going to get gunged regardless because as someone told me, so many people dont have beautiful long hair or expensive clothes to worry about, they just worry about where they will sleep at night or what they will eat. But id like to save my hair if possible.

ok well ive dyed my hair black a few times, and my hair is hella fried. And I saw on youtube some girl with blond hair dying her hair with food coloring. so do you think i could use black (if it even comes in that color??) food coloring on my hair? ( btw, i have brown hair) Oh!! and if you have any hair advise for me, like how to get it healthier and if there are any magical dyes that dont fry hair, tell meh

I know about Kool-aid already but thinking about something differnt. Would food coloring work?? know anything that dyes your hair like that? I tried sharpie but it comes out after a day

when ever I try to it washes right out in the shower.
I though you were supposed to mix the food coloring in conditioner.
When I wash out the conditioner the color comes right out!
(light brown hair)

and also i have dirty blonde hair and i want to put a tint of Purple onto my hair what do i use Kool aid or Food coloring? also how do i put it on because my friend tried it and it didnt show up in her hair and im afraid to try it until i know hot to do it PLZZZZ HELP ME!

And I put just a bit of red food coloring in it

Would it make it permanent purple, or will the red just seperate when you washed it

how can i remove food coloring from my hair after 2 days?

I was wondering if it is healthy for your hair to be dyed with food coloring. I tried it before, but it just washed out so i guess it is temporary. I was also wondering if there was another way to make it last longer in your hair.

I want to dip the tips of my hair in food coloring [not sure what color to do] will it wash out? Or will it dye my hair? HELP [: please.

I am going to a Halloween party tonight and my costume is a Leprechaun. I want to temporarily dye my hair green, and my mom said food coloring works. I am still nervous about it coming out of my hair as my mom has never tried it. Does anyone know anything about this?

I am not stupid, so don’t post rude comments! I realize it says FOOD coloring, but clear nail poslish is meant for fingernails, yet it can be used for fixing rips in nylons. Things have multiple uses.
Unfortunately, I go to a charter school that is insanely strict, so I can NOT go to school with green hair!
