If I use Garnier Fructis’s leave in conditioner with Softee Hair Food, do you think that there will be some type of chemical reaction from all the blending of hair products causing more damage to my hair?
Is it ok for me to use Softee Hair Food in my hair since I am white?
I use VO5 shampoo and conditioner.
So do you think that with all of this stuff my hair will be damaged?
I apply the hair food one day and the leave in conditioner the next. I wash my hair 2 times a week because I do not want to get dandruff.
I am trying to regrow hair that came out when someone overprocessed my hair when I was getting highlights. I know that in order to grow your hair healthy you have to have a clean healthy scalp. I have tried everything nutritionally, good hair products, eat the right oils and fats in my diet, I don’t use heating appliances hardly at all, I don’t wash it too much so I don’t dry it out? WHAT ELSE CAN I DO? Thankx!
What about reducing the volume/puffiness of hair WITHOUT cutting, straightening, or using hair products?
–Are there any shampoos or conditioners that will work for BOTH problems??
Note: I mean "hair products" as in hair sprays, straighteners, and home remedies.

After going to the dermatologist and having a scalp biopsy, I was diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia. This means that my hair will be progressively thinning all over for the rest of my life. I have been trying to research the best hair products like shampoo, conditioner, and scalp treatments for it but I keep getting mixed reviews on most of them. I would love to hear some great products. Thank you!
If it helps, my hair is color-treated, frizzy, curly, and very damaged from heat styling tools.
This is many for African Americans who use a lot of hair products and know what I’m actually talking about.
My mom has alopecia areata and is currently undergoing treatment but I am wondering if certain hair products (shampoos, dyes) are considered to affect hair regrowth?
