Other than a hair transplant?? I have tried propecia and Rogaine and nothing has worked. Would be interested in anything that has worked for others.

I have read that there is no cure for alopecia, but there are many cases where hair growth may come back. Are there specialists in alopecia that anyone could recommend who can give better treatment options? It would be for a ten year old who is not responding to rogaine or cortisone shots.

I have thinning hair. I think it is due to tight braids that i have been getting for the last few years. 8 months ago i noticed thinning but thought it was genetic. But now i think traction may be the culprit. I was wondering if i could just use rogaine to kickstart the regrowth process and then stop after i see my initial regrowth?

If there is a way to regrow hair, what is it? –Particularly the hair at the temple which has thinned from wearing tight ponytails.

Besides things like rogaine (because I’ve heard you have to keep using it b/c once you stop, the hair falls back out)
