I used to have long hair. Last year I cut it pretty short. My hair is just now at my shoulders. I miss my long hair. Is there anyway to make it grow faster? or healthier? I take vitamins and use Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner.

I have an 8-year old daughter and I noticed this for a while, but when I brush her hair or pull it back she would have bare spots. As if there isn’t enough hair to cover her scalp or in other terms bald spots. Based on her nutrition and being picky on eating, I try to give her vitamins on a daily basis, but I sometimes forget. And I noticed that she brushes her hair after she takes a shower and she doesn’t brush out the tangles before she goes to bed. I’m not sure what the cause is, but what I do know is I wanted to get suggestions on products that can help stimulate the growth of her hair so she can can have that full head of hair and no bare spots.

Let me know your suggestions, thanks!

My hair is veryyyyy dry! I do everything from deep condition, oil treatments, and leave-in conditioners but my hair will still be dry no matter what and it makes me very angry and sad. I don’t even use heat appliances or harmful products on my hair. I feel as though it’s because I am lacking natural oils. What can I do about this? Will not using conditioners or products make my scalp produce it’s own sebum? Vitamins?

My hair has ended at my first rib for the past 2 years. I trim it about every 3 months and it still won’t grow longer. I want my hair to grow about another 2 inches, but I’m not willing to wait another 4 months for that. If it would be possible I would for it to grow out that long by late July/early August. Any tips on what I should eat or any vitamins I can take?

my hair grows at a very slow pace compared to others. i was wondering if there are any foods, vitamins, or minerals that make my hair grow faster? … or at least HELP my hair grow faster.

I’m 17 and have thinning hair, but, according to what I’ve been researching lately, this could be caused by many things but really the only things that seem to fit best to my history are: Pulling my hair up tight for years, genetics, poor nutrition, or perming and coloring. Other than that I use mousse everyday and most of the time a hot iron and blow dryer. I also shampoo my hair every day because it gets oily fast and tends to part but I don’t use conditioner. Then I take Biotin and Grapefruit Seed Extract to help promote healthy skin and hair. Could I be doing something wrong? Do I need to eliminate some things, such as the way I style my hair or using vitamins? Or do I need to just be patient and wait for it to grow back? It’s been like this for over a year now. Please anyone who can help I would gladly appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

I’d like responses from both males and females.

Some questions:

Which shampoos are HEALTHY to use? (not the ones that damage thinning hair)

Which (if any) vitamins should be taken?

Which foods can promote healthy hair?

How could I judge what is the best multivitamin for women, who suffer from hair loss and exhaustion. Please I need an advise from a Physician to tell me what is best, "Perfectil" for hair and nails- or Nutrition for your hair or Vitamins for your hair.
- Efalex (for brain and eye): does it really strengthen the eye and brain- esp for those who use the computer for long

I have anemia, which is basically not enough iron in my nutrition and my hair has gone weak and thin just because i opt for unhealthy quick snacks rather than a good healthy meal. Anyways so my problems are with nutrition rather than styling,so did u try some hair supplements (vitamins) that really worked for you? Where did you get them from and how long did it take before you saw any improvements? Thanks a bunch.

My hair has been falling out like crazy. I went to the doc, did blood tests and he looked at my scalp. Says we are good. I am only 21 and I know its not hereditary, family has thick hair even into their 60’s.

I am pretty sure it is from bad nutrition. For about 3-4 months I lived off of frozen tv dinners and drank sugary drinks.

I have been eating better and have been on a multivitamin, biotin, and hair/skin/nails vitamins for two months.

But I am still loosing hair like crazy, how long until it stops falling out? Does it take 3-4 months of good nutrition until I get to see a difference?

1. I’m losing toooooooo much hair everyday, I eat lots of fruet and still losing hair. do you think I should take some vitamins? what vitamins exactly?
2. my hair is thin (become thin). what hair color do you think would make it look thicker, a dark color or a light one?

I am trying to let my hair grow out, so I need a hair product that will restore it back to healthy hair. I know vitamins are great, but what product works well?

I would lik to grow long, silky and healthy hair. I always keep my hair at slightly longer then shoulder length. When I started to let it grow longer, hair would start to fall. by the time i had them at my waist, my hair shape would be V-shaped, unhealthy and hair become lesser.

I would lik to grow healthy long hair lik any other gals, please let me noe what shd i do to start growing my hair healthy so that my hair would not start falling?

I love any methods, vitamins, hair pdts and any other formulas.
I did not dye my hair. wat does healthy diet means? I eat veg, white meat, red meat and fruits daily. Lesser meat and more veg and meat. I mean my hair is thinning whn my hair get longer.
