I want to bleech my hair blonde from a very dark brown natural color but I have female pattern baldness…what will happen if I do? Will it make my balding happen faster? damage the hair folicles?

My advice to you is to gradually go blonde. Have a heavy weave of blonde highlights done every 4-6 weeks for awhile until you are blonde. THat is the healthiest way to do it. Bleach does damage the hair but if you take it slow and gradual it should not be so bad. I would also recommend getting this done professionally as bleach can be very damaging if not used correctly. yeah bleach damages the hair even if done properly. with right after treatments maybe your hair can be salvaged from even losing hair. go to a colorist professional!
